Abdul Malik

Abdul Malik is a Toronto-born screenwriter and journalist who worked on the front lines of Canada's labour movement for years before co-writing Peace By Chocolate, which premiered at the 2021 Tribeca Film Festival. Recently, Abdul’s written on series such as CTV's Transplant and the upcoming Streams Flow from a River. His editorial work has appeared in publications such as Jacobin, Passage, and Canadian Dimension, while his photojournalism has sent him across the world.
